IT Services of ETH Zurich
The IT Services offers all students registered at ETH the following basic ICT services free of charge:
  • an e-mail address and 200 MB memory capacity on a mail server
  • access to public computers equipped with standard software (Office, Web, programming tools, mathematical software).
  • an ETH-wide available home directory with 2 GB memory capacity
  • possibility of accessing the ETH intranet via VPN
  • possibility of publishing a personal homepage on the Internet

Projekt NEPTUN

Project NEPTUN offers the possibility to students of Swiss universities and members of affiliated institutions to acquire a laptop from a chosen range of models at very attractive prices. Our goal is to supply a learning and knowledge environment which allows studies, teaching and research independent of time and place.

Not only does Neptun offer notebooks but it provides software and tech support for both soft- and hardware as well.

Informatik Support Gruppe D-MAVT

The ISG@MAVT is the IT support group of the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering. They take on the support of the computer science infrastructure of the institutes, professorships and the administration.
