Based on the project RUMBA, that the confederation initiated, the ETH Zurich wants to establish itself in the next years as an ecological exemplary institution, that is lead also by socially and environmentally relevant principles.
While putting RUMBA into practice, ETH obliges itself to the continuing improvement of its environmental performance, i.e. it reduces the consumption of natural resources and minimizes the direct and indirect impacts of its actions on the environment.
