According to the Detailed Regulations of D-MAVT the Doctoral Committee is responsible for a proper handling of the following procedures:

• admission applications of doctoral candidates presented for a statement by the Rec-tor’s office
• research plans submitted by the doctoral students, which are already approved by the supervisor
• award nominations presented by D-MAVT professors (as supervisor of the doctoral thesis) for concluded theses; the decision of the PK goes afterwards as a suggestion of the department to the Rector’s office

According to the Detailed Regulations of D-MAVT the Doctoral Committee agrees to the ap-provals of the admission, the research plan and the price nominations.

The D-MAVT Professor’s Conference decides about the external doctoral studies, external co-supervisors, the applications for promotion and the price nominations.
