Walter T. Vogel studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich. From 1992 he worked as Vice President in the sales sector at Aliva AG until he moved to HILTI AG in 1995. Four years later he became Divisional Manager and subsequently CEO of Roll Holding AG. Since 2007 he has been CEO of the Aebi Schmidt Group. This company develops, manufactures and sells agricultural and other machinery worldwide.
Walter T. Vogel is also a Board Member of Stadler Stahlguss AG (Chairman), Kardex Group (Vice Chairman) and Schlatter Holding AG.
