Under the motto “Magic through Technology”, ETH Zurich presents innovations in the field of robotics and game technology as part of the program accompanying the forum. The robots Igor and Rezero from Prof. Roland Siegwart’s Autonomous Systems Lab will be showcased. Michael Mühlebach, doctoral student at the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control (IDSC) from Prof. Raffaello D'Andrea will hold presentations on "Cubli", a cube which can jump up and balance on its side.

Prof. Margarita Chli and Prof. Kristina Shea also provide insights into their research as part of the WEF’s main program. Margarita Chli will give a speech on “Humanizing robotic vision as a first step towards creative interaction”, while Kristina Shea will talk about “Achieving the full potential of 3D and 4D printing through computational design”. Both will also present their work in the ETH Ideas Lab on 20 January in Davos.
