Awards for experts in materials and processes
Researchers and students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering participated in the 12th MaP Graduate Symposium to present and discuss their latest projects in the area of materials and processes. Aurelio A. Rossinelli, Björn Bachmann and Andac Armutlulu received best poster and best image awards.
The annual symposium brought together 240 participants from ETH Zurich, Empa, PSI and IBM Research. 13 talks and 60 posters were presented during the event, which had been organized by the Competence Center for Materials and Processes (MaP). From the ETH Department of Mechanical Engineering Kevin Bircher, from Edoardo Mazza`s group, Agnieszka Ładosz, from the group of Philipp Rudolf von Rohr, and Hen-Wei Huang, from Bradley Nelson`s group contributed to the programme with their presentations.
Aurelio A. Rossinelli (D-MAVT) and Björn Bachmann (D-MAVT) won second and third place during the poster award competition. In the competition for the Best Image Award Andac Armutlulu (D-MAVT) was among the top three winners.
