Events for prospective students

Find out more about studying mechanical engineering and about the research conducted at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT).

The mechanical engineering sciences exhibit projects and provide information about studies every year at the study information days in September.

Dates and registration

The Focus Roll-out is an exhibition of student projects that takes place on Tuesday in the last week of spring semester. It is open to the public and gives the opportunity to gain an insight into the research and study content of mechanical engineering.

News and impressions 2021

Visit us with a school class. One opportunity would be during the D-MAVT Technology Week, when we organize a tour of the ETH Zurich, and tell you about engineering studies and the research work of the department. Dates and timing for the visit are arranged on an individual basis.

The number of visits to our department each year is limited. Thank you for your understanding.

The ETH Zurich offers both public and private group tours. The D-MAVT is very happy to show you the research work of the department as part of the private group tour.
