Swiss Nanotechnology PhD Prize 2023 for Iwan Hächler
Iwan Hächler has been awarded the "Swiss Nanotechnology PhD Prize 2023" by the Swiss Micro- and Nanotechnology Network. He is a former doctoral student at Professor Dimos Poulikakos’ Laboratory of Thermodynamics in Emerging Technologies.
Hächler was recognized for his doctoral thesis “Combating fogging with selective sunlight nanoabsorbers”. His research contributes to advancing nanomaterials for surface engineering.
With the Swiss Nanotechnology PhD Prize 2023, the Swiss Micro- and Nanotechnology Network honors excellent scientific first-author publications in the field of Nanotechnology and Nanoscience. The award was presented at the Swiss NanoConvention 2023 on 15 and 16 June in Neuchâtel.
