The Center for Sustainable Future Mobility is jointly run by the Departments of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (D-BAUG) and of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT). Since July 2023, the center has been administratively assigned to D-MAVT. Emilio Frazzoli, the center’s new chairperson, is a member of the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control. His main research interests lie in the area of planning and control for mobile robotic systems, with a particular emphasis on autonomous vehicles and transportation networks. Martin Raubal, Professor of Geoinformation Engineering at D-BAUG, will be the center’s new Deputy chairman.

Until he retires in 2024, Professor Kay Axhausen, Chair of Transportation Planning at ETH Zurich, remains a CSFM member and a member of its steering committee.
